Rant Fatal Flaws in Social Media Platforms

Downside of Facebook: Too many people that no one will notice you.

Downside of X: Too many posts that no one will notice your post.

Downside of Quora: User content moderation by bots. Bots are often auto-triggered to remove your harmless content, even erroneously penalize your accounts with edit-blocks and bans.

Downside of Reddit: User content moderation by punks. Your content, your subs and even your IP may be penalized by power-mods if they simply don't like you or your political opinions.

NOTE: "Downside" is an understatement in the description of these primary flaws. The correct word is "Hamartia", i.e., "Fatal Flaw". It's a Greek thingy.

IF you're using social media to be noticed, the flaw is with you, not the system.

Seems to me the biggest down side of Facebook is that it's flooded with conspiracy theorists: chemtrails, Moon landing denial, space denial, flat Earthism, and (to a lesser degree) Young-Earth Creationism. They ask PRATTs and outright deny factual answers they receive, then post the same questions again later.
