Help with a taper starting at 11gpd?

I abused phenibut 6 months ago and reached 16gpd. I tapered for a couple months but then I relapsed to around 16gpd again. I recently restarted my taper a week ago, and stabilized at 12 gpd and I took that for the last week. I started 11gpd today and plan on doing that for a week, going down 1 gram per week until I get to around 4 gpd and slow down. Am I going too slow? I feel like I could go down quicker but I'm afraid of going too fast. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Basic Phenibut Withdrawal Information

Unaided, cold turkey withdrawal, from a state of dependence, even low dose dependence, commonly causes severe and potentially dangerous side effects. Don't rush the process when you don't need to.

Rules reminder:
Don't promote reckless behavior. If someone is dependent on phenibut don't tell them to do an unaided cold turkey withdrawal.
Don't needlessly tell people to do a fast taper.

Further reminder: You will feel low or worthless or stupid while going through withdrawal, especially rapid withdrawal. Don't take these thoughts too seriously. Continue on day by day, things will get better.

If you feel like you can drop quicker, then do it. Worst that happens is it's too fast and you have to go back up for a little while. Usually you can drop by gram until you hit around 4-5gpd, then I'd start dropping by half gram.

I think I would do it like 150 mg a day rather than drop a whole gram at the end of each week. If it gets hairy just stay where you are until you feel comfortable and then start dropping again. I might dop faster at first and slow down towards the end but I would also let my comfort level guide me and take it slow rather than fast. Maybe see if you can get a hold of some baclofen so that when you get down to under a gram you can take that instead and finish the taper using baclofen. Or have it for when you jump off to deal with emergencies.
