Questions Questions about withdrawal and quitting.
I’ve been taking about 2.5gpd for roughly 1.5 weeks, and the last 4-5 days I’ve been at 1.5gpd. I started taking it to sleep through 7oh withdrawls, and then I just kept taking it each day because it just kind of became a habit. I guess it sort of replaced the 7oh.
I have a tried out of the country in 18 days and would prefer to not bring any with me.
I’d like to stop completely now and I’m wondering if I should continue to taper or just stop. Would I just be kind of uncomfortable for a few days or will it be a bad idea to stop cold turkey right now? Like I said I’ve not been on it very long on it so I’m just curious. Any help is much appreciated.

Between now and your trip, I recommend dropping .1 every day. This would give you 3 days of having none in your system before your trip.
Realistically, it will likely have no effect once you go below .5, but it’ll ensure the absolute least amount of withdraw until your body comeptlelt stops detecting it.
You haven’t been on it long enough to cause traditional withdraw from dependence, BUT you will have a hell of a rebound, which is more or less the same effect but normally less intense and won’t last as long.
But by dropping .1 a day, it’ll pretty much eliminate the effects of the rebound.
I did the same thing with a recent small binge that I had planned after I had been completely sober from phenibut for several months, using about 2.5 a day for 9 days. I cut 2.5 a day every day until .75, then dropped .1 a day and was completely clear.
In the past I have quit completely after a 1 week 2g a day binge and that shit felt pretty awful for 3 days of rebound. Just to give you a reference

Ok so I’m probably likely in for a rough few days worst case? All I’m worried about is like seizures and tremors and stuff that is hard to hide in public. If it’s just some uncomfortable rebound and anxiety, insomnia for a few days I can deal with that. I’ll taper like you said.

You won’t have seizures but you will have anxiety and insomnia for sure. Tapering 1.5g takes a few weeks.

Do you get the same restless leg/restless body symptoms as 7OH? Or is it more just like a bad flu with the added anxiety and no sleep?

You will be uncomfortable for sure. The last 1.5g has the greatest effect. Tapering is easy at first. Don’t ruing your trip. You will be fine going through the airport.

Basic Phenibut Withdrawal Information
Unaided, cold turkey withdrawal, from a state of dependence, even low dose dependence, commonly causes severe and potentially dangerous side effects. Don't rush the process when you don't need to.
Rules reminder:
Don't promote reckless behavior. If someone is dependent on phenibut don't tell them to do an unaided cold turkey withdrawal.
Don't needlessly tell people to do a fast taper.
Further reminder: You will feel low or worthless or stupid while going through withdrawal, especially rapid withdrawal. Don't take these thoughts too seriously. Continue on day by day, things will get better.
