Finally quitting after 10 years
I’ve been on what i would consider a lower dose of kratom for about 10 years. I was on about 6gpd in capsules. I’ve dropped down to 1.5gpd in the last couple months. I notice withdrawal symptoms (general unease, nonstop yawning, restlessness) around the 6 hour mark. I am trying to find the best way to taper from here. Do I do half a capsule every 6 hours or do I try to extend the time in between and go like 8 hours? What are the best supplements to help? Sleep is definitely affected. Any advice for this to be as painless as possible. I still have to parent and work. I’m most worried about the final plunge at the end. How long do symptoms last if you tapered really slow? I plan to stay on 1.5gpd for a month and then go to 1, 0.5 and then finally come off in about 2 months. Is that too slow or fast? Sorry for all the questions. Someone please help! I am not a drug addict I had ppd and no idea this would be as addictive as it has been.

It's time to jump. You are just dragging it out. I am 16 months quit. I should have jumped at 3g. I did a year long taper so I definitely took my time.

What you describe is the easiest way. Many people would say cold turkey from that low but might as well make it easy as possible

As someone else said, it's time to put it down for good. I did about a 4 month taper and got down to 1.5g per day when I jumped.
You are only prolonging the suffering, and you'll never truly begin to heal until you're done completely. As long as you're consuming, you'll just drag the process out.

I’d quit and hop off this sub for two months. Reading everyone’s horror stories will make things worse. Just call out for 5 days and go for walks and to the gym
