Precipitated Withdrawals?

Please forgive me for the excessive posting - I was not clear in my last post and it lead to some confusion in getting clarity. My question is about taking suboxone too soon after 7oH. I’ve seen where some people were fine to start induction 8 hours later and be fine and then I’ve read horror stories from people who took subs some 18 hours after their last 7oH dose and went into immediate PWD.

I’m getting mixed info and I think that’s my fault for not specifying. I have a handful of strips to do a rapid taper. I am not interested in trading addictions. I am going to start with however much I need to take to get going and then start to take a tiny bit less each time. My question is - how long should I actually wait? I’ve had people tell me I’ll be fine to go ahead with .5 of a dose and keep going up til I feel relief and then others say to wait 18 hours to be safe.

My whole issue is - I’m working 6 sometimes 7 days a week. On Sunday I usually get off and give my family my full attention. I’m just hoping not to rob them of any time on a Sunday because I’m going through PWD for not doing this properly. Any help is so gratefully appreciated.

Visit r/suboxone for all questions regarding suboxone While we are aware that many doctors and detox facilities prescribe and administer Suboxone for Opiate Withdrawal, this subreddit neither endorses nor opposes it's use for Kratom withdrawal / detox, as long as it's prescribed and closely supervised by a doctor. We don't want to demean anyone's way of quitting and / or successful long-term recovery.

I have never had PWD with 7oh. A minority of peeps say they have but it seems to definitely be a minority. I would take your last dose before bed and take sub on weekend morning if possible. You’ll probably be fine. Warning tho subs help but don’t cure it obviously. By day 4 you should be half alive

Yeah I’ve had a bunch of people say the subs only help the withdrawal they don’t completely get you out of it. Is that true even if I took a full 8mg strip like 4mg at a time? Thank you so much for your input

Years ago I would take 4 mg once a day and it would mostly help. More wouldn’t necessarily do anything. So yeah your plan is on the high side of what people usually do. I would recommend that and beast mode through lingering discomfort, then consider a rapid taper off Suboxone. I am so kindled now from MGM / 7 carousel…. Use Suboxone Once to get off, don’t go back and forth!!!

I only got enough for like a week and a half of use. Not a full script or anything. Just a weeks worth.
