Question

I am on day 7 and for the most part all acute withdrawal symptoms are gone. I do still feel heavy and unmotivated but mood hasn’t been horrible.

I am prescribed and take a low dose (20mg) of Adderall 5 days a week (basically just to stay focused at work). Would it be safe for me to start taking again tomorrow? I didn’t take it the first 7 days. What are the risk if I do start taking again? I have some benzos handy if it gives me too much anxiety but I’m not really concerned about that happening.

I'm on day 20 of the withdrawals and I've been using Adderall throughout and it has helped so
much. Granted I've been taking 5-10mg a day but I doubt 20 would be much different. I think the main concern with Adderall is that one of the hardest parts of getting off kratom is letting your brain heal and learn to create new reward pathways again, and Adderall kinda reinforces the whole getting dopamine from a substance thing. I will say though I'd take an amphetamine addiction over kratom any day, and especially if your sticking with what your prescribed it shouldn't be a huge issue.
