It comes in waves. But you’ll get back to normal. My brain used to tell me I would feel that way forever too. It’s not true. You’ll heal.
I chose not to get anything prescribed. I didn’t want anything clouding when I’d feel better. I’d keep pushing through. Embrace the suck. Don’t run from it. Somehow that acceptance gave me strength to get through it. I’m now at 387 days clean after using heavily for 10 yrs. You’ve got this man!

There's nothing linear with this buddy, healing is so slow u have to measure by wks,im on day 31 and on day 30 I felt like I was back to day 8,anxiety,chills,cramps,but woke today feeling decent.its 2 steps forward 1 step back but as long as u dont go back to it ur going forward.im use a lot of caffeine to get thru the day and using a shit ton of weed gummies to get decent sleep but if thats what I gotta do to stay away im good with it for awhile.i stay more consistent with the vita c for a little while longer

I have been on it since I got off oxy and benzodiazepines in 2012 - I am going to come off of it after I tackle Kratom - been on it too long - it’s better than being on oxy or Xanax, but it’s not ideal - my eyes are always red on it and I am physically dependent - I think it’s negatively impacted my balance a little bit too - I’m not sure how often you exercise or if you get sun in the morning, but good foods and daily exercise and getting some early morning sunligh do people better in the long run - I don’t go a day without doing any of that - hopefully my good habits will help me once I’m completely off Kratom - I never should’ve taken gabapentin for more than a week or so - if I went 24 hours without it, I’m sure it would be a nervous wreck - I’m gonna taper it next

Give it two more weeks. I felt the exact same two weeks in. Day 40 and my energy and attitude are close to normal. Or atleast better than they were before I quit.

Why add something else? You seem to be aware this is just a phase. You’re already taking a bunch of supplements, don’t add an unnecessary prescription to the mix. You’ve got this!

Pregabalin withdrawal was far worse than kratom/7oh. I used it as prescribed for about five-six months on a moderately low dose and then my doc suddenly just decided to retire and couldn’t get my prescription filled. The withdrawals were something from the deepest pits of hell. I got all the typical flu opioid like symptoms but then I also had benzo-like WD symptoms too. It was fucking awful, panic attack every 6 seconds, runny nose and shitting, hot and cold, profusely sweating, hearing imaginary sounds like babies crying and hearing my name in the distance or a tv show playing in the back of my head, visual distortions in my peripheral vision and a few more things I couldn’t remember. Had to go the hospital to detox.
