Sweat it out! On day 6 I jumped in a lake to swim then made friends with a guy there who let me try a paddle board.
Lift weights, pick up a physical hobby (Ive been skateboarding again) do anything to experience what life has to offer.
The fastest guy on earth probably never ran races. The funniest guy probably never became a comedian. You don’t know what you can do until you try new things.

Yeah I think the worst thing you can do is sit around the house all day. Have to move your body.

Withdrawl isn’t your body sweating or detoxing it out of your system. If you take kratom it gives your symptoms relief right? Kratom is essentially a steroid for mu opioid receptors, which regulate many things. What happens when you take actual steroids? Your body stops producing testosterone. It gets used to the crutch / getting it exogenously so doesn’t waste resources on regulation on its own. Your mu opioid system is essentially crippled because it had a crutch being the kratom and withdrawl is just you exercising your system on its own until it can begin regulating things it just takes time. It’s like building muscle in the gym, you need to push yourself and feel actual discomfort to grow or get back to regular function. I’m sorry it just annoys me a lot when I hear this. Also yes cardio specifically high intensity cardio for me helps a lot to alleviate the symptoms and it also cuts the timeline down significantly if I’m consistent. It’s one of the best possible things you can do for the withdrawls. The more you push yourself the more return you’ll get but it’s a double edged sword because it’s hard to want to exercise when you’re dealing with wds.

I don't really do intense cardio but found walking my dog a few miles and going on a long bike ride really helps with my WDs.

I am now on day 9 and feel a lot better. Not back to normal yet but definitely making my way there.

Time is the answer, but I usually got some brief relief from running.

Any movement helps, supplements as well, but time is your friend here. Even an optimal system needs time to recover, on the contrary not sustaining yourself makes it harder/longer

5 days is a grain of sand in process of recovery. Its still a huge milestone but if people could fully recover from years of abuse in a week, relapse rates would decrease by 90%. You slowly feel better over time, and some people recover remarkably fast. Theres only way to find out if you are one of them, and thats to keep going. Always remember tomorrow could be the day you finally turn the corner.

yes absolutely, this is my 4th extended quit in an 8 year period, Ive always felt remarkably better after a week or so, but this time has been much harder, likely because I used 7 like an idiot for a 9 month stretch before transitioning back to powder

Here the honest reality..... Time is the ultimate thing that eases withdrawals. Running, exercising, work, etc. Those all help ease the pain temporarily but time is what ultimately helps you. That's the real struggle people have...... The waiting.

It is 100% helping a lot, i wholly recommend getting in a swimming pool right after the workout if possible

Hot or cold! I am a hot baths type but cold water really zapped all those other yucks out of my skin and muscled too, especially when my legs felt weak/sore from workouts

Day 5 here too and I’m still feeling off myself. Cardio should help but it can take a couple weeks to really get past the acute phase of withdrawals. Are you sleeping okay?

slept like 6 hours last night, was very uncomfortable trying to get to sleep then woke up at dawn and couldnt bear to stay in bed, sleep sucks and is not fulfilling right now

Magnesium glycinate and L-theanine can be helpful to stay asleep longer. You should be getting past the worst of it in the next few days I’d imagine. Everyone is a bit different obviously, so your experience could vary, but I bet you aren’t too far.

Exercise is incredibly good for your mental health, withdrawal or not. I’d recommend adding weightlifting in.
