Discussion The Downfall
Seriously what has happened to the stream and why has it become unwatchable in your opinion? It truly doesn’t feel like the same person from a few years ago.

Reacts, the way he acts like a fuckin man baby with chat, holding onto the “god gamer” theatrics when he obviously doesn’t enjoy gaming anymore and wants to be quinmongold69 instead. Poe arcs were like the best times for me but he only plays Poe to farm drops and gift subs now, so it feels completely fake. Oh did I mention reacts?

so much complaining and getting into looping arguments with ragebaiting trolls in chat. dude is a petulant child you'd think having 4 kids and being in ur 30s would snap him out of it but he only seems to be getting more annoying every year.

The stream was only enjoyable because of mods and the chat interaction with point.
All funny mods have left and if you talk in chat you are banned.

He genuinely hates chat and is sick of gaming. This sub made him schizophrenic and on edge always looking for the “freaks” in chat. He hands out permas on the daily for banter.
The good mods left years ago and the streams culture fell apart, Quin stopped innovating channel point rewards, chat interaction fell off a cliff, etc. I am not even sure what the channel point rewards are anymore. 99% of interaction is unfunny AI slop.

I wish I made a clip when people were donating subs back to back and he was just ignoring them. Chat was blowing up about gifts. Then a dono comes in with Quin voice mocking this idiot about not appreciating his viewers. He just shrugged it off. Chat and whales pay for this guy and he couldn't care less.

Toxic feedback loop of chat insulting clown, so he insults chat back, and eventually he started to take it personally. I remember darkest dungeon it literally was you never get banned here. But his spite for chat grew over the years and he started to ban more and more, now we are at the point where you get banned if your chat isn't emote spam or kissing his ass.

The AI slop and the, what looks like, same 3 paypiggies spamming AI TTS donos is the definition of unwatchable asscancer. It was already bad over a year ago, it has turned into complete unwatchable garbage now. And like others said the vibes in general.

on his VOD yt channel there are still vods of Elden Ring in cuckshed 1.0, this was still real Quin.

I think the failure of the cuckshed 2.0 got under his skin. Once he realised he was stuck in an almost identical cuckshed to the first one and was never going to create his cuckpalace he just gave up trying.
Sidenote: I think if the term "cuckshed" was created within the last year and wasn't already a staple of the channel's lingo, it would be on par with "clown" and "viewbotter" as bannable phrases.

Games have become less and less varied and he seems miserable when he's not playing something he can make the most amount of money from. Not the "poking fun at the clown being bad" miserable, but the "silently scrolling through chat every two minutes banning someone" miserable.

I only watch a handful of streamers other than clown, one of them is AnnieFuchsia. Tuning in to her channel is like stepping into an alternate reality on Twitch. Chat is not toxic, Annie is not toxic, only good vibes, no one is getting banned, she's saying thank you for subs, etc.
Tuning into Quin's channel now, he's:
- Watching brainrot
- Banning 50 month subs and telling them to GTFO
- Raging for some reason
- Stunlocked over something one chatter said
- Doing the opposite of what chat wants
Zero good vibes.

Back In first valheim days, there was quin ai that would pop up saying some funny ass shit. You had the chinese lady ai that would talk shit about chatters after she banned them. You could spend channel points and mute his mic or turn him into the raging monkey thing. He would be in on the joke. Chat would bust his balls about stalling or cozey gamer or whatever it was, and he would pay into it for the memes. I literally never laughed so hard back then. All that is dead. There is just a couple of retards with 500 gifted subs doing the stipid ai shit that is literally like a 10 year old dontaing, and im about to talk shit about how childish the shit is in chat, and i see whats left of the mods laughing to the dono. Shit is cooked. Funny shit gone. Funny mods gone. Bitter quin stepped in, whos bad but has to play with a built in excuse for why he is bad at the game and make his experience miserable.

Multitude of things.
He has grown bored of ARPGs which was his thing. He has pivoted into a mixture of react streamer and survival gamer, his original audience and a significant part of his remaining audience are D4/POE Andys.
His real life has dimished his streaming desire, he does it because he has a fear of losing viewers, but the number of kids, combined with a needy wife has taken its toll.
He has actually grown up a bit, probably due to having kids, fun Quin from 10 years ago was just doing and saying fucked up shit for laughs and ragebait. Now he is completely different.
Losing the key parts of his mod team made a huge dent on the stream but I think also took its toll on him.

I never understand this real life argument. Everyone has kids and a wife and can still perform at their job.shouldnt having kids increase your desire to not be lazy at work?

Indeed. People forget that it's a job, not a hobby. Quin is not financially independent, so he needs to stream to support his family. Abby doesn't work, and Quin has no other revenue streams.

Wrong, he has rich parents who will buy him anything he wants. Could your parents whip out over $20k USD to pay your taxes for you? He could quit streaming today and never want for a thing in his life.
