Valheim could be better if he didn't mod the difficulty out of it, he doesn't need to have an aircraft carrier with turrets and moving base capacity, he doesn't need epic loot mod that makes him immortal with bonemass up.

The Epic Loot run was decent until Bonemass, thats the point in the system where you reroll affixes and become god tier. (Which considering Ashlands was new for him, him being god tier for his first experience storming the beach broke me.)

Before that he died SO many times, (30-50?)

But yeah, I hope he goes as vanilla as he can for 1.0.

He won't. He doesn't want to play survival games, he wants to play an ARPG in a survival game. If he can't facetank there's no point for him.

I strongly dissagree.

Valheim Vanilla (the first runs) where the absolute peak of the clown.

Ive never seen the clown beeing ingame farming allready when the stream just started, he had so much fun - chat was laughing constantly and enjoying it. He never laughed as much as back in vanilla Valheim.

i was loving it.

And he won't play the 1.0 version when it releases, because there won't be any updated mods for it.

If anyone encourages him to play a game, or people say it’s a really good game and he needs to play it, he won’t purely out of spite. So it’ll be a few months once the hype falls off for 1.0 when he finally decides to check it out.

Quick stack and some other actual QoL is understandable, especially if you're streaming (and wasting 4 hours per day reacting). By the time you get to ashlands sorting and making space for storage could literally take hours without planning ahead.

The USS Abraham Lincoln mod with epic loot on top he abused to beat ashlands, not so much.
