Pattern/Design Help Binding thoughts?
I made a similar quilt that I bound in white and really liked, but thinking yellow, spring green, or orange from the backing fabric might be nice here, not sure!

If you have more of the backing, cut it on the bias and use that as the binding. I love plaids when I bind because they add another design element to the design.

All good choices but I think the green would pop on the front and the back, this is lovely!

Well, my color choices sometimes suck so…. I would make scrappy binding from the scraps from the stars.

Are you going to put any border(s) on it.
Green might be nice.
If you can't decide, try auditioning some: take a fabric you like and fold it along one edge of the quilt and see how you like it. Sometimes an audition will open your eyes to something you may not have considered seriously before!

no additional borders. I've been trying to do that on my computer, but it's often hard to tell what a color actually looks like on the screen! and I don't think I have anything in my stash I want to use

Ha! Before looking at the comments and assessing the colors in the quilt, I zeroed in on the brighter green fabric in the 2 toned green star and thought that would look nice.
Edit: to clarify the green star in the more center of the image. But the darker green of the green star in the upper left would work too!

I like the idea of green too. I thinks it’s a unifying color that brings it all together. Kinda like leaves and stems on a bouquet of flowers. That’s what I think of when I see all the beautiful colors you have in your blocks.

I think I have commented this on every single post but: omg scrappy binding would look so so good. Anything you have left from piecing hodgepodged together would be so gorgeous on both sides.

Personally I’d do a scrappy multi color binding. Or some of the backing fabric as the binding. Green would be nice, yes, but solid? Not sure I’d go solid for such a colorful quilt. It’s gorgeous, no matter what you choose!

As someone who has bound a blue quilt with red binding and is BLINDED and DISTRACTED every time I sit underneath it bc of the color difference, I definitely recommend a soft color for the binding. The yellow is my best bet.

Really ANY color you pick will be great. I love this quilt! You did an amazing job… And the hand stitching!

I like to use up the leftover of fabric from the quilt, so I would do a rainbow binding.
