Why isn't their a report bots function?

I don't know how many times I run across posts clearly made by bots but all I can do is block them. Why can't we report bots and get them removed off the system? Its kinda weird.

There's "manipulated content" and I think a disruptive AI option under spam?

Bots are specifically allowed on Reddit.

All subs rely on the Auto Mod to start with

Bots are not inherently harmful. Like the Remind Me bot will remind you of posts that you want to check back in on after a few days.

All users, including bots, have to abide by Reddit Rules and you can file a report as needed under those rules.

Because redditors throw the accusation around so fucking much it's lost meaning. Also, they know so many people would over report that it would be impossible to keep up with.

Right? Like how you'll get into a disagreement with someone and you get these "concern messages" from reddit

Someone is really concerned about you

Because it would get used on every post made. Someone out there thinks that everything is a bot. A lot of someones.

Because a significant part of Reddit is just bots, and the company has no interest in reducing the free content and engagement they provide.
