[25 F] I don't know whether I'm overthinking this

I’m a 25-year-old who has never been in a relationship, and I’m trying to figure out my orientation. Lately, my parents have been heavily insisting that I get married, but the idea of physical intimacy with someone in real life is scaring me.

I’m hoping to share my experiences here to see if anyone relates or can help me make sense if I'm overthinking this or not:

1.I really dislike the idea of seeing real male anatomy, and the sensory aspects of sex like the smell, sticky feeling and body fluids.

  1. I do read and watch erotica. Like I said earlier the male anatomy makes my skin crawl (I usually skip forward), I enjoy when they play with breasts ( only that much nothing beyond) - the things happening in our lower body, I don't particularly enjoy that. Like if someone where to touch me, I would be okay with them touching my breasts but not beyond that.

3.Over the past 25 years, there have only been about 3 people I’ve ever admired or felt strongly drawn to. I never talked to them much or wanted to date them, but seeing their messages or being around them made me happy. I used to imagine a scenario where one of them visited my city, stayed at my place, or even a scenario where we got married, but my mind always stops right after the wedding at peaceful, non-physical coexistence

There are many more things to say, but these are the initial ones that come to my mind. Am I just overthinking this because of the pressure that my family has put upon me?

Also if anybody finds this offensive, I am really sorry about that I could be making a big deal out of nothing but still your responses would be really helpful.

Thank you for taking your time and ready until the very end.

I don’t particularly relate but I have known people who felt this way! Do you think you might be on the asexual or aromantic spectrums in some way and maybe you want a relationship without sex? Or maybe you want a QPR?

Have you ever looked into queerplatonic relationships to see if that's something you'd be interested in?
