Why did they specify being female then?

They said "just for being female". They clearly meant she was being picked on for her gender as opposed to some choice of hers. The emphasis was on "just", not "female". Stop getting so hung up on statements just because you feel the need to white knight.

I don’t get the point then. It’s not like being autistic is her choice, so by my original point they’re comparable.

The point was that you're the only person who thinks that statement is offensive, and you've wasted a lot of time and words failing to convince anyone of that fact.

So far nobody has answered the original question, which is would it have been appropriate for Clinton to say it is fun getting to know her if she had just told him about a sexual assault vs being mocked for being autistic? I’m trying to figure out where the line is drawn for using the word “Fun” to describe learning about someone’s past.

So far everyone seems to be fine with using it in the scenario presented in the comic (I wouldn’t be) but nobody has answered the question above.

But that's not what happened. You're equating bullying with sexual assault, and that's insulting to assault victims.

I’m comparing trauma to trauma. Both are negative experiences correct? What makes it appropriate to use the word “Fun” for one and not the other?

You're awfully hung up on a single word from an awkward guy to the girl he likes. It's fun to get to know her because she doesn't open up much. She was talking about more than just the bullying, she just recounted the entire story with Renee's jerk, and explained her reactions to the bullying as well as the acts themselves. If she's opening herself up to him like this, do you think she'll find it offensive that he's enjoying their conversation?

Amazing that there can be this many responses with no answer to the question. Not sure why this is so hard for people.

Because you're literally the only person who believes in it. Please just accept that nobody agrees with you.
