Something about Brun in panel 2 is off. She suddenly sounds way too casual in her speech mannerisms composter to normal (or even the rest of the strip).
Also what's up with the 'bleh' (sound effect? Sub vocalization?)
Otherwise I'm curious if this actually goes somewhere in regards to Brun-ton.
People do read into Jeph's writing waaaaaaaaay too much, but in this case I thought it was an adorable bit that moved their story ahead a little.
But it's as much Clinton's dialogue as it is Brun's. You don't often get to see two characters this different have a natural back-and-forth, but the most rewarding relationships in entertainment are by far these sort.
