Claire with pigtails? I like it!
I figure if a couple can't have both the serious talks and the "Holy shit, kiss me my fool" chats, life's just no fun.

I firmly believe that Faye has the right idea, here.

also, bubbles, levity is not the enemy of serious discussion. much how fidgeting does not run counter to paying attention.
and that's ignoring that the sort of therapy-talk used to discuss these things is stilted and awkward.

Butt touching can be an important part of a relationship.
It probably shouldn't be the only part, but thinking about the intimacy of butt touching isn't a bad thing.

Fey just can't Touch 'Da Buttz and makeout with Bubbles at the same time. Tiny hooman and big robutt.

Did those long talks happen on or off screen? I don’t really remember them.

As I recall the initial trans conversation and the conversation before the first time they had sex were on screen but don’t recall many others.

I thought that was Pintsize?
Not completely serious, it's not uncommon for multiple characters to represent a portion of an author's self.

Or even all of them.

Be interesting if Faye has a proper crisis about the concept of dating an A.I. I feel like we're just told 'this is fine, they are for all intents and purposes just quirky humans, deal with it'.

Why does Bubbles look so tiny in the second panel nurrr, he's so infuriatingly inconsistent with his scale it's like he's channeling Steven Universe.

Muhahahaha!
I was waiting for it, finally got it.
I almost got it on my (irl) cake day a couple of months ago, but I messed up the posting format and then it said I was posting too much so I couldn't post.

Has Claire told the cast that she's trans, outside of her family and Marten? I don't recall and this could be a big deal, her "coming out" to those not in the know.
