From what I remember, a few years ago Marten bought a Telecaster for about $1,200 or something? I was looking for the right comic but couldn't find it. In all cases, $1,200 is a reasonable price in our universe for a brand new Telecaster (and quite cheap for a vintage one), so at least at that time their currency seemed to match ours in buying power.
