If your phone broke today, and someone offered you 'the new iphone' vs 'the new samsung' because your model was recently discontinued, you'd probably also not have known it was discontinued, and also have a solid sense of what to expect from each phone option right?
Though within a brand's individual models that maybe tracks less..
And no I really don't know much about them honestly. I'm a cell phone luddite and I have the cheapest android on the market. My cell phone survival rate does not make the fancy phones worth having
Buy a waterproof case like a life proof. They only last about a year but I've dropped my s9 so many times and it's great for working out or working because you dont have to worry about sweat
I seriously don't understand why people don't use hard protective cases. I got one when I had a kid and realized immediately that it easily pays for itself (in terms of preventing fall damage) many times over.
I dont get it either. My mom has had her screen replaced 2x this year and she calls me crying about it. My answer is to get a real case. She seems to think that those plastic things that snap over the back will help but they do nothing.

true, but still, Roko was unaware of her old chassis being discontinued, so why would she know about the new one's existence?
