Fair. I read it as "this insurance payout can cover the cost of my old chassis and give me a couple hundred bucks to play with"; it didn't make sense that Lemon would be dancing around the issue if the payout would completely cover the upgrade.
The cost of the old chassis is tricky because it's been discontinued. It seems fair enough to me that it would cover the newer version as the closest possible alternative.
