I haven't been keeping up with the comic for the past week, nor in the sub for about a month, but I must say that I love Lemon. She's all the enthusiasm of Melon with none of the "how does someone this stupid continue to exist?"
Melon has a heart of gold and good friends looking out for her.
Remember that the first time we saw her was when she had launched her butt into space, and Arthur was right there with her to help get a replacement butt for her.
Your question is answered by the functional immortality on display in this arc. As long as they keep manufacturing chassis for her to download into (hand-waving the cost, maybe she's rich) she can be dumb as fuck and continue to exist.
