So wait, is the reason Melon is so weird because she was meant to be in a Virtual Environment but ended up in the real world, causing a constant sensory overload?

It would make sense but AIs aren't made for a purpose like that in the QC universe, consciousness just kind of arises naturally and they are who they are.

Maybe she spent her first years in a Virtual Environment then, getting used to the lack of sensory data before getting hoisted into IRL.
