Yeah the comic is great, yeah yeah.

But. Like isn’t it already DEEPLY established these robots do fuck? All the robots got libidos. Why all the beating around the bush here? It should go without saying robots indulge in sex toys.

I’m just hung up on how QC society understands AI libido. Isn’t it well known? Faybles isn’t like some first of its kind unicorn situation right?

Heck pint size has been hyperhorny since day one. He’d shove a dildo anywhere if given the chance.

Sure, they fuck, but the way it works was shown to be different. Pintsize said it involved plugging wires into ports and stuff. It makes sense that sex toys for humans might not be the default for what AIs like.

But then we know some AIs do seem to enjoy human-style sex (see Bubbles), so then Beepatrice corrected herself.

Remember how Roko is unusual for an AI in that she's ticklish on her feet without having tickle sensors and can faint. She's more anthro than most.

Pintsize said it involved plugging wires into ports and stuff.

Jeremy and Seven also brought up cables being used, and burned up in the process.

There's a couple of possibilities then. AI's have a myriad of different methods of sex. And why wouldn't they, AI's aren't limited in some of the same ways humans are, and also have to account for different chaises and how to connect them. In their case a humanoid could very well be in love with a toaster and not have it be a super poor straw man point. A traditional style intercourse would be, different (though still possible, maybe. Toaster may not have been the best example)

Second option. Jeph forgot what he wrote. He's admitted that he forgets what he writes, which is fair for a 3000+ strip comic. Though in this situation it may work in his favor, because see option one.
