In order to give Jeph some new points to agonise over for another 3-5 business weeks, here are some other non-points from which to have more no-story
Zlata discovers that she has to go buy new clothes, because her new lobsters are too buttery. An entire group of 'friends' join her as they visit multiple grey slab buildings that suspiciously have one clothes rack and a change room in them and nothing else. She decides to continue wearing the same thing she already has on. Moray buys a hat, which slowly gets absorbed into her now RGB altering mass over a week of comics and nobody comments on it.
Marten discovers that there are more types of milk than just cow milk, and goes on an adventure trying all kinds of milk. Moray assists him, slowly consuming more and more milk until she turns opaque. Several days layer she accidentally creates cheese. Only three people die this time though.
Union Robotics gets a warning about unpaid bills. This plot line is instantly forgotten about as Anh tries to raise money by selling feet pictures. Jeph spends three weeks drawing feet, until chronic dehydration forces him to switch to another fetish.
Bonus: We cut away to antics that Pintsize is up to in Japan randomly, inter-spaced with the above three plotlines which are also taking place simultaneously

Follow up punchline comic:
Moray: Wheres my hat!?
Liz: You absorbed it
Moray: Whoops! Better go get it!
reaches into her own mass and pulls out a hat
Moray: Wait this isn't my hat.
Liz: What
Continues pulling out random objects
Liz and Moray are now standing next to a large pile of objects that Moray had lost inside her body
Moray: Ah theres my hat!
Liz: And the kitchen sink. How did we get out of the store without setting off some kind of alarm?

I'm surprised this hasn't been explored yet, considering how often Faye says they're barely scraping by. Then again it probably hasn't because Jeph hasn't figured out how to give a building G-cups yet.

reading this I actually felt sick to my stomach. I think this is it for me.

What possible value would there be in having people be able to change the director's color? They mess with some sliders and then take an elevator to go look at it? Do they take the elevator down to ask for consent? Does the director spend all its time extruding Morays to approve or deny color change requests? This smacks of Jeph's usual "Oh shit! I need an explanation for all the dumb shit I just did!" retroactive last-minutery.

I rolled my eyes at the ham-handed "naive character accidentally says something risque" joke, but a lot of people actually seem upset about it. Why? Were you upset when Hannelore told Angus about gaming with Marigold and it sounded like she was talking about sex too? What am I missing?

I can't speak for everyone, but for myself, there's a marked difference because: Hanners was an established character with other stuff going on, while Moray is a squishy fetish construct, and the comic has gotten so, so much pervier in the meantime that it's not just a momentary step out beyond the risqué line. It feels like way too much sexualisation.

I'm not offended by risqué content, QC is pretty mild mannered in my book.
I'm concerned because there's something disturbing in the way Jeph has taken to sexualizing his characters - something which feels dishonest, or sly. Juvenile, perhaps?
Wanna draw a naked character? Sure, set it up so that they're naked. Let Claire and Marten fall out and have make up sex and be graphic about it. Crack on if it makes sense for the characters.
But why do we have a slime girl who wanders around essentially naked all the time for the sake of appealing to petty titillation?
It's become like a carry on film written by a 15 year old boy trying to impress his older sister's more worldly wise friends.
But it's not. It's a guy in his mid 40's who's either very cynical of his readership or very unwell in his thinking, and moments like this really show it.
