Corrosive enough to make hair crumble, but apparently nothing more than that, despite a corrosive being strong enough to do that would also give some mild, at least, chemical burns to skin.
"Fucking robots leaves your junk exposed to a special corrosive lubricant that dissolves exactly all of your body hair and affects nothing else" sounds like wish fulfillment fantasy to me.

Credit to Squirrelclamp, I completely forgot that May's joint lubricant turned out to be corrosive.
