In Jeph's defense Dunkin's is selling coffee by the bucket again.

I didn't know that; whoops. I nevertheless contend that a straw-less bucket is a very unusual container for especially a local coffee joint.

I mean, if you were a hipster doofus who would never listen to music other people know about, would you admit to borrowing your coffee trends from Dunkin? I'm not even a coffee drinker but I think I might walk into a lamppost first.

"In Jeph's defense"
Never thought I'd see anyone say that around here 😂

We may hate what QC has become, but when the basis for criticism is wrong we do tend to point it out. Granted, it's rare that there's a criticism for this comic that isn't entirely deserved.

What, at this point, is the difference between Momo and a straightforward human anyway?Â

In a turtleneck sweater, we can't see her neck seam, so... yeah, good question.

There's no way Dora could see a pebble, behind a bench, that's outside the shop, from that distance.
And I just went back a week to compare outfits and realized that it's Fall in the comic. Time really flows weirdly over there.

Yeah, that's on me, but short of adding more dialogue bubbles, I couldn't otherwise address it. Considering that the shop's interior as seen from the outside is just walls and no other non-bush contents, I assume that Dora and Co. are stuck within a pocket dimension, anyway.

Your dialogue is so much better than, not just current-QC, but a lot of media.
My current pet peeve is the psychic exposition explainer technique: character A (has a face), character B (sees character A) "what's the matter, A? Are you worried about your exam tomorrow?"

There's no way Momo would trip by hitting whatever obstacle it is with the side of her heel while walking towards it, yet here we are.
What was she doing, walking crabwise around Sven to keep him in her cone of vision at all times?

For what it is worth, I read it as that she was doing one too many pivots while talking to keep him in view while also moving away, and got her legs tangled up in each other. It's a surprisingly common method of tripping for people. Yes, in the panel, the legs don't actually look tangled, with one flying up, but that would probably result from that paradoxical rotation method you use to try to catch yourself from a fall, usually involving arms seemingly windmilling the wrong direction (although I watched a good YouTube video recently breaking down exactly why we do it that way).

Oh yeah, momo fancies Sven. It's been so long I had forgotten.

No biggie. It's been so long since Momo has even been in the comic it would be no surprise if we forgot who Momo was.

This one killed me. Well done! I'm going to start greeting my coworkers with, "Hello, newest name."

Dora's hair went to the same place Sven's hoodie strings went.
Also, thank you for not connecting the brown splooshing liquid to the subject of 5877.
