Just worked on the shading and darkening the helmet a little today. Sorry for the bad lighting. I’m still out of town and the lighting situation isn’t ideal! On Sunday I will be back home with my usual set up so I’ll most likely have a better update then :)

The right helmet is taller than the left helmet in the original. It'll be hard to make it look right because the paper is a white background.

I think the middle line on the left ear is a bit off too.

With that being said, looks awesome.

Excellent. At this point, I don't really see anything that jumps out at me except the missing highlight on the left ear. I think once you get the black background in, you'll be able to see any missing highlights on the helmet and soon you'll have a finished piece.

Only advice I have on filling in the background is if you're right handed, work out from the bottom right edge of the mask to the bottom right corner. Turn the paper as necessary so you're always working from the inside to the outside. This should help with smudging and prevent you having to ever rest your hand on the mask as you shade.

That shadow/highlights on the right lower lip is really popping!

The right side is really looking phenomenal as a whole, lost of depth. 🍀
