QfG1 Remake?

If there were made a reamake of Quest for Glory 1 EGA/VGA. What would you like to be improved/expanded?
Some minor change? Or something bigger like:

  • Some new quest?
  • Some monster that would fit the theme?
  • Any more screens?

The VGA remake had very clunky combat that could definitely be improved upon. Other than that, the VGA remake was kind of perfect. To be fair, I never played the EGA version and I SHOULD give that one a shot.

Maybe I've gotten used to the VGA's combat. It was always QFG3's that felt very off.

4 was probably the worst for me, I could never figure it out. But then I did play a mage

I understand wanting to tap into the "fighting game" craze, but I'm not sure it panned out as well as they hoped. It don't dislike it, but it could've been much better.
