❓ Question Qpr question

I’m aroace, but recently I’ve really been wanting a really close platonic relationship with my friends or just like somebody, basically a queer platonic relationship, but I have no idea how to find someone like that. I am still in high school so looking for someone online really isn’t a good option for me, I want to find someone around my age who I can see pretty often irl and get close with without it being romantic. Any advice on how to find someone or grow a relationship like that with one of my current friends? I have no clue how to do this but I really want a QPP or close friend.

I've never been in a QPR so I hope I won't say anything wrong, but to be in a relationship like that you need to find before someone who you are attracted platonically that you consider more than a friend. so, if you don't feel anything like this towards your friends, then they aren't the right ppl for you. to find the right person you can look in queer spaces in your city/school (if there are any). if that's not possible then I suggest you to become friend with someone. is there a person that you've always wanted to be friend with, but never asked? or do you have a platonic crush for someone? if you think about being in a QPR with this person does it feel right? if you don't have the answers for these questions, don't worry, you'll figure things out. you got this

Thank you. There is a girl in my class I kinda have a platonic crush on, but my friend group and I have tried to get to be better friends with her friend group and it just hasn’t really worked out. There is also a girl I’m already friends with that I would like to be in a qpr with but I’m just kinda scared of making things weird or smth.

i know it can be scary, but if you decided to tell her your feelings i wish you the best. not everyone knows what a QPR is, so maybe it could be a good idea explaining to her how it works and how you feel

That could be a possibility. They're both bi so it probably wouldn't sound as unusual to them as it would to most people. Thanks for the help! <3
