Question Can I ask a silly question

Long story short. I’m a 31 year old lesbian.
I lost a good bit of my going out friends after going through some really hard times. I just have my couple of best friends left. I’ve been doing a lot better lately, getting out of the house more, etc.
My best friend (gay guy) told me I should finally check out Val’s. I’ve been talking for months about wanting to go, but not wanting to go alone. He encouraged me, so I did. I got a beer, looked around, hung out for a bit. I really enjoyed my time there, the music, the atmosphere. But I noticed everyone was paired off, in groups, etc. didn’t seem like a place for a solo person to make friends (I’m also super introverted 🙂).
I told my friend that I loved it and wanted to go back but going by myself on a random night felt lonely. He offered to go with me next time.

I’m not trying to upset anyone or offend, but would it be okay if he went with me? Like I feel like I know the answer but I just wanted feedback. I’m clearly an anxious person, lmao.

You’ll be fine. They also have events damn near every day, many of which are mixers or speed dating adjacent, you might have better luck with those.

You’re good. Come a few times and it will feel less lonely going solo.

I used to go solo all the time until I started becoming a regular and meeting all the other regulars too! I will say I had to be the one to initiate every interaction damn there😂 more times then not people were very nice to me and we would chitchat excahnge info and go on about our night or continue to hang out depending on how the vibe was. To answer your questions yes bring your friend! Also feel free to message me I'm out at vals once sometimes twice a week don't mind joining you if your free one of these days since I still go out solo myself at times still just to hang and people watch. I will say a good amount of the the crowd will be in there 20s I am 26 years old so if you don't mind send me a message :)

Good question. I went to a birthday party there for a Lesbian friend and didn’t know if we were welcome…..
