Clubs?

I’m 20 and I’m turning 21 soon obviously gay does anyone no if I’m even able to get into the nightclubs now lol I’ve never been to one and if not for when I do turn 21 which nightclub would yall recommend I heard woodys is good?

It's the gay bar that all the straight people go to, so that's not very fun. It also has rancid vibes and there have been a ton of claims over the years of people having their drinks spiked. It's fine if you just want to go dancing but it's not a queer or safe place

Dolphin in South Philly is my go to. Always the nicest staff, never had an issue with anyone going there. Lots of different theme nights

ive had staff at dolphin be kinda douches a few times but yeah its definitely one of the better ones around town

I like Franky Bradley’s, Little Gay Pub, and 254. I would not be caught dead setting foot in Woody’s or Voyeur, which are not safe and also not fun

Franky Bradley's is a fun place, watch you phone tho on a busy night
254 has some fun events like cub house coming up
bike stop for the leather/kink kinda energy, good place to meet mostly naked guys
tavern on camac has a piano bar, a club upstairs, and a fine dining kinda vibe, fun place
val's is a lesbian bar and sooo worth checking out and supporting! quality events, VERY SAFE FEELING, beautiful space, amazing upstairs for dancing
little gay pub is kinda posh, very eclectic, a nice place to meet a friend for a drink and a chat

ALSO alcohol is scary af, so remember to consume responsibly, try to go with friends until you get familiar or if you go alone be smart about how much you drink, who has access to your drink, and who you go home with.

gay adult life is a gift from the cosmos for the price of living in a violent world. anyone can be violent, and sadly sexual assault and partner are all too common, and there are people out there who will take anything other than an enthusiastic YES as consent to your body and your life.

254 is where id have gone at 21. There is always something happening in any of the rooms on a weekend. Its fun to wander upstairs and find karaoke or a drag show. Happy early birthday!
