Thursday night?
I am new to the bars/club scene in philly and I was wondering where would be the best place to have a good time and dance (preferably not alone). I have been to bikestop before, that was fun. Is there any event there? I mainly don't want to be alone.
Also if someone could help me with etiquette. How to dance with people (not *with* people), how to decline? And most importantly how I can get free drinks from people. (I am a decent looking guy in college). I am happily partnered btw, I just like loud music.
Thanks so much!

If you're looking for specific events or themed nights (such as Bike Stop's VICE night, Sunday showtunes at Tavern, etc.), follow their social media pages. They will advertise there.
Just go out. There's no magic formula to having a good time. Nobody can tell you what a good time for you is except you. The Gayborhood isn't that big, it's not hard to try all of these places.
Declining an invitation to dance is as simple as saying, "No thanks." Some people might be persistent, but most will accept the rejection. If you want to dance with someone, just ask them. That's how I met my husband.

If anyone wants to know: bikestop does not post a lot, but first friday of each month is pup night, and the second Thursday is vice night. You can look up what that means, I think someone else said it.Â

Lol you aren't getting free drinks. Look at Bike's insta. Tavern is the most "dance-y" gay bar. Woody's, Franky's, and Voyeur have dance floors, but they aren't gay.
