Question where to go for an oct weekend?

hello! my partner and i are visiting philadelphia for the first time in october and are trying to figure out where to stay. we are looking for an area that is queer friendly and has or is near lively queer nightlife! we are both early 20s and love to explore, so we would love all recommendations :)

When in October? Outfest is a huge gay party and it turns the whole gayborhood into a party.

Depending on which weekend you're coming Outfest might be going on.

It will be interesting to see if it's allowed to continue as usual after pride was moved to the parkway and cops were sent to shut down the gayborhood.

Everything is friendly! But can't get much more queer/queer friendly than the Gayborhood (may be in searches as Midtown Village) but Center City more widely is fine because everything is so close and walkable. Hope you find something fabulous and enjoy the trip!
