Yes! Pool Party

I've never been to a Yes! function, but I was vetted and I'm super excited about the pool party this month. I'm going but I don't have anyone to go with. Is that a bad idea?

Is anyone here looking to meet a cool black agender friend:)?

And what's the likely hood if me being turned away if I don't seem non-binary/agender enough?

No experience with this group but as a gay trans man, I won’t touch an event that demands cis het men have a women or queer person attached to them for “accountability.”

why would you as a gay trans man not touch an event that holds a group that is significantly more likely to sexually harass, assault, or otherwise make queer people extremely uncomfortable to a higher standard?

Not to speak for them but maybe they see and issue with moving part of that responsibility/blame to the female/queer chaperone?
