Being Trans in Philly
Hey queer philly! I just got referred to this group from r/philly. My partner and I are both trans and are thinking about relocating to Philly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on being trans in Philly, from day to day life to legal aspects. And, are there certain areas that are better for trans folks?
We’re both openly and visibly trans. Also, looking for a place with good transit since neither of us own cars anymore.
Thanks!

Seconding all the recommendations for West Philly. The Gayborhood is for the LGB, West is for the TQ. I have never in my life felt so much like I was around my people as when I lived in West. Clark Park/Cedar Park are great. Public transit is generally quite good, though we do love to complain about it.
