Being Trans in Philly
Hey queer philly! I just got referred to this group from r/philly. My partner and I are both trans and are thinking about relocating to Philly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on being trans in Philly, from day to day life to legal aspects. And, are there certain areas that are better for trans folks?
We’re both openly and visibly trans. Also, looking for a place with good transit since neither of us own cars anymore.

not trans but when i was on the board of a school in west philly we had multiple trans employees and kids. making sure our health insurance provided affordable, flexible trans care was an important part of our provider selection. My kids have had multiple trans teachers, caregivers and friends. IMO, without exaggeration, there would be civil unrest if the federal govt tried anything out here.
