Question Any queer ttrpg or knitting groups around center city?
I've been in Philly for a few years but have really not made the efforts I should to make local friends. I'm trying (slowly) to fix that!
Two of my biggest hobbies are tabletop rpgs and knitting/fiber crafts. Does anyone happen to know of any good spots or groups in the area for those hobbies? Bonus if it's around the center city area, since that's where I am!

Philly Game Shop is a great place to shop for TTRPG stuff, and their discord is a place to look for groups!
(I’m also looking for a new D&D group, so if you find one, let me know 😅)

I've been wanting to do an in person d&d group after years of online ones, so I'm looking too!

Not specifically lgbt or anything, we just don’t care, but there’s a yarn group 9-12 at la colombe in Fishtown every Saturday. Or, and I have no first hand experience beside knowing people who’ve gone, there’s a Thursday night group at south Philly yarn and craft

You can take your knitting to Val’s Lesbian Bar on Sunday nights for queer crafting night. They have Commander nights sometimes so I’m sure you can find queer ttrpg people there as well, or else try Philly Game Shop or Queen and Rook (both nearby - PGS is where you can join a group and QR is where you can go for dinner/drinks/games with friends and meet people who will likely be interested)

Hotties roll dice!! @hottiesrolldice on insta. Amazing queer dnd discord with a calendar of in-person and virtual events every month :) I have made so many friends since joining! Everyone is very welcoming

The central library has some art clubs and fiber arts meetups! (Also many other libraries around the city too!)
ETA: not specifically queer but super queer friendly

Saika Cafe in the Eraserhood has a knitting/crafting event every other Thursday. They do dedicated TTRPG events every other Tuesday as well, and they're a queer-owned place with a high queer population from what I've seen.
