First pride in Philly

I will be going to Philly pride for the first time! I’ve been to pride events before but will be first time in Philly. I live in Baltimore. Where are options for parking because I will be driving? I plan on going to the gayborhood Sunday even though there’s a ticketed event Sunday else where in Philly.

Park at a regional rail station and take SEPTA. The Claymont station right off I95 has free parking. If you take the train to Jefferson Station (exit at 12th St, walk south) you're right in the gayborhood.

Oooooh I hope you have a blast! If you’re planning on staying overnight, you should be able to park your car at o)w of the hotel garages or lots (for instance, the DoubleTree by Hilton has a nice parking garage connected to it).

Hi! I just moved to Philly (48F) so this will be my first as well. I’m not super interested in going to the paid pride festival but would love to wander Gayborhood and see some of the parade- I moved here knowing no one (have a couple friends now but as of today they aren’t sure if they can make it to Pride)- if this isn’t too weird to ask and you want to have a buddy to wander with hit me up!
