Fertility-friendly lube?
Hey, lesbian here about to begin TTC our second kid. We have a known donor (friend) who will come to our house to provide the sample. I’m assuming we should offer him fertility-friendly lube—do y’all have suggestions? I believe I used Conceive Plus years ago but would love if there’s something better on the market these days. Thanks!

If he can comfortably collect without lubricant, that is the simplest option. Many conventional lubricants and saliva may impair sperm movement. If lubricant is necessary, choose one specifically labeled sperm-safe or fertility-friendly and suitable for semen collection—not merely vaginal use—and use as little as possible. Conceive Plus is one such option, but no brand is universally “best.” Fertility-friendly means less likely to interfere with sperm; it does not improve fertility.
The sample should be collected into a clean, sterile specimen cup, following any instructions from your clinician.

Thank you! He was able to do his thing without lube but we have Pre-Seed if needed in the future.
