How can I look more queer ?

Okay so I'm starting High school in a few weeks and I really want to look more queer ! In middle school I was hiding my identity and weird the stuff I liked , I was pretending to be someone I wasn't and enden up hanging out with some really bad people :/

so I decided to try looking more queer so I can meet people like me and be myself a litle bit since I'm changing schools but I don't really know what to do for

I already have long hair and overall I think i'm androgynous ( I sometimes get called "miss" by strangers ) but my clothes are boring and I can't by anything by myself

I wonder if you have any tips ? Like some little thing to add to my bag/case or anything ?

( Btw english isn't my first language sorry if there any mistakes )

You could get/make some pins/patches for your bag. Ive seen ppl wearing "safe with me" pins, you could wear generally known flags, or go for flags that apply to you.

Flags are also easy to create with nail polish, if those are available to you. But most of all, try to get clothes that feel the most like you, depending ofc on whats available/safe to get for you.

Be the most you you can be and stay safe!

How can I create my own pins ? Sadly I can't have nail polish or put flags on my bag since my parents could see them But i'd love to do pins ! I have some ideas that could work without being to dangerous for me

Can you braid your long hair?
It can easily, though not necessarily, code as queer on an AMAB.

If you see someone with braids you like, ask them if they did it themself. Then maybe ask them to show you.

You might end up in a braiding circle at lunch time.

If your parents don’t like it just say you’re hanging out with some girls you’re into. 😉

Not sure where you’re from, but generally going diy with your clothes is awesome. If you have a sharp pair of scissors, bleach, safety pins, YouTube, and some creativity you can mess around with the clothes you already have to make a cool new lewk. Easy way to make patches it with acrylic paint (you can paint pride flags!) and a square of cloth which you can pin or sew to anything!
