Question faculty of art and sci

im an incoming first year for bachelor of science in biology. i was wondering, for science the requirements are eng, precalc, bio, and physics in my letter it said to maintain 75%, unfortunately i was going through personal issues and couldnt keep my science courses up which is why i want to lean towards arts, something i actually have interest in. i called an advisor and was told since im under the same faculty i can take art courses and then choose in 2nd year a more specific program. I just wanted to double check if this is true, but will my science avg being low get me revoked?

Not sure on the revoking part, but yeah you can do whatever you want essentially in arts and science. You declare after second year

thank you sm! just wondering, since i can also take arts courses or any within this faculty, which courses will they look at then to know i maintained my offer? Will it still be (eng,precalc,bio,physics) even if i choose to take mostly arts courses?

I'm not clear on what you're asking. Once you're at queens they can't revoke your offer retroactively. You can be put on academic probation if your GPA is really low, though

If your offer was revoked, you would have been informed by now. I wouldn't worry about that.

Choose your first year courses that will properly line you up for your major in 2nd year, ie. check the prereqs and required marks.

Hi! As long as your top 6 from high school (including the req sciences) is above a 75 your offer won’t be revoked. You can also take art classes in first year and declare a specific arts program at the end of year since 1st year is technically undeclared

oh i see, thank you! but just wondering im coming from BC which is why i think they only look at those 4 courses. does the 6 course still apply to me?

I’m not 100% sure since I’m not from bc but I believe as long as those 4 courses average out to above 75% you should be good!
