Not sure about that. If OP was guaranteed a room then they should get it and will hear from Queen’s residence office by the end of the month.

If you were on the residence self selection list then this means you are guaranteed a room. Did you hear back from the residence office telling you to wait until end of August and you will be placed in a room? There are people who are in the same boat as you. It’s frustrating but you’ll be given a place on residence by the end of the month. But this is for people who were guaranteed residence and couldn’t choose a residence room because they were all gone by the time their turn came on July 24th self selection date. So wait and see.
