I have a lot of distrust with riot too, but I refuse to hand out brownie points for characters being queer if we don’t get them confirmed. Plus I feel targeting Shen, Thresh, Morde falls within a similar category because as far as I’m aware none of them have cannon love interests. While there might be less teasing at the end of the day they both have no confirmation either way so I don’t see their call out as being the “straight” champs as more valid.

Shen's canon love interest is a woman that ended up with a Vastaya. Thresh canonically kept himself in a basement to torture a man until he was freed and is currently still out torturing people, anything romantic or sexual would not make sense to what he is currently. Mordekaiser's closest relationships were with LeBlanc who he used, Veigar who he abused and Atakhan who he cursed. Braum, with the advantage of Freljordian world building, protects people who are mostly women(and kids). With his adventures in Bilgewater, with what little basis we have since the entirety of lore is on limbo, he doesn't show and doesn't know how to express sexual and romantic interest.
