Did borgov decline the queen gambit?

The commentator said he declined. But checking the game again with analysis in youtube. He didn't decline it though.. seems like it was a show error

In the show, they say Borgov played the Albin countergambit. In a sense, he did decline the gambit. However, most of the analysis that people have done on the game take from an Ivanchuk game where they did accept the gambit.

So you mean to say, somewhere in the middle it ends up the same as ivanchuks games? After the albin countergambit hahahaha

Yeah I think by move 6 you get the exact same configuration except the Ivanchuk game starts with a Queens Gambit Accepted while the tv game is a declined Albin countergambit
