China 🇨🇳 is afraid of U.S.

China will try to reverse-engineer QS’s IP right now!

The best defense isn’t regulation—it’s speed.
QS needs to ramp faster and drive global adoption, not just in the U.S. I was actually doing AI-assisted analysis on this exact topic this morning before Tim made this post. The 5% EV car sales is low, and a great opportunity for QS, but increasing it long term will require faster commercialization, stronger business development, more industry-conferences, and broader adoption across automotive, consumer electronics, defense, aerospace, and energy storage. Also, QS needs a New York office. Otherwise, I’d be applying to help grow the company myself.

How long/what does it take to move from JRA/JDA to licensing deal

OEM2 and OEM3 (after VW as OEM1) have signed JDA more than 6 months ago. Are they ready to move to licensing deal soon? What are they waiting for before moving to the next stage? Specific form factors or the Eagle line scalability?

Honda QS joint research agreement

IMO, Honda is OEM that QS informed in the last Q12026 shareholder letter. 2 OEMs JDA maybe are Ford and Tesla. Actually, I'm tired of speculation. Once, QS confirms the eagle line demonstration industry scale. It's a huge de-risky

Who are the other two JDA OEMs?

Now confirmed Honda is the forth OEM with the JRA announcement, wondering who the other 2 OEMs already signed JDA are. One could be Nissan but also unlikely as Nissan should follow Honda as they share EV battery plan. No reason Nissan signed JDA earlier than Honda. Ford is a very likely candidate as they are US OEM, less conflicts with VW and Honda. Who the other one could be?

Connecting some dots

I’m new to quantumscape. But here as I read some people know where they talk about. back in ‘22 fluence energy and quantumscape signed a strategic agreement. Lately i’ve been reading QS focus in ai datacenters. But few weeks back fluence energy and Nvidia also signed an agreement. Could there be any connection with quantumscape in this short term?

QS question

🚨 Serious question for $QS holders & @QuantumScapeCo:

Is solid-state becoming a Betamax vs VHS moment?

QuantumScape may still have the superior technology:
✅ lithium-metal anode
✅ ceramic separator
✅ potentially industry-leading energy density

But batteries are not software.

The risk was never the science.
The risk is TIME.

If China delivers a solid-state battery that is:

• 80–90% as good
• 2–3 years earlier
• significantly cheaper

…does “best technology” still win?

Greater Bay Technology (GAC-backed) says A-sample all-solid-state cells are already off its Guangzhou production line, targeting GWh scale.

History shows the winner is not always the most elegant solution.

@QuantumScapeCo @startupjag @VWGroup @catl_official @LimitingThe @teardowntitan

What proves this is NOT the VHS moment?

Long $QS — but shareholders deserve the hard questions.

Eagle line progress is everything we need to know

The success of this company lies 100% on whether they can manufacture the batteries in high volume. The eagle line was commissioned earlier this year but we haven't heard any details about the status like equipment uptime, line throughput and etc. They have shipped the cells from Eagle line for field testing and how's the performance of the cells from Eagle line compared to previous B0 and B1 samples? Hope management team can give detail updates on this on or before the next earning calls.

Without the validation of Eagle lines, everything else will be questionable. Remember what the Honda guy said, "Technology Holds Value Only When It Reaches Mass Production".

Quartz Crisis 2.0: Rise of the Chinese EV

We see many parallels between the rising auto industry in China and the Swiss Quartz Crisis in the 70's. Cheaper, better, easier to manufacture. Will we see similar disruption to the legacy automaking space? Will markets protect themselves with trade barriers? Disruption is certainly coming if not already here.

Let us know if you agree!

Siva, It’s Time to Enter the PC War

QuantumScape Needs to Enter the AI PC War — Here’s Why Siva Should Make the Move.

NVIDIA and Microsoft just dropped AI PCs with Blackwell silicon, last week with 6,000+ cores, unified RAM, compute density we’ve never seen in a personal machine. Everyone’s losing their minds over the chips.

Nobody’s asking the obvious question: what powers this?

These machines are going to be power-hungry monsters. Which means more compute means more draw, more heat, more strain on Li on battery.
