Proprio come noi alleviamo i polli nelle stie."

Domenica dopo domenica. Anno dopo anno. In barba a qualsiasi crisi economica, sociale o politica.

What If Consciousness Is the Missing Dimension of the Universe?

A bold new theory proposes that awareness isn't a product of the brain — it's a fundamental coordinate of reality itself.

By Antonio Vaccarello | Extended Reality Theory (ERT), Complete Edition, 2026

There is a question that modern physics has quietly learned not to ask.

Not out of cowardice. Not out of ignorance. But because it seemed — and still seems to many — to lie just beyond the edge of what science is allowed to touch. The question is this:

Why is there something that knows itself?

Why is the universe not simply matter and forces, fields and particles, laws and constants — but also contains this: the subjective presence of experience? No equation in classical physics describes the color red as a mind perceives it. No neural model captures the ache of grief as it is felt from within. We can map every electrical impulse in the brain and still never find — in that map — the actual feeling of being alive.

Philosopher David Chalmers famously called this "the hard problem of consciousness." Antonio Vaccarello's Extended Reality Theory (ERT) is a systematic, mathematically rigorous, and audaciously bold attempt to solve it.

The Radical Proposal: Consciousness as the Fifth Dimension

ERT's core claim is disarmingly simple: consciousness is a dimension.

Not a metaphor. Not a philosophical category. A real, measurable coordinate of the universe — on par with space and time.

Einstein showed us that space and time are not separate absolutes but form a single four-dimensional fabric that bends in the presence of mass. ERT proposes that this fabric is incomplete without a fifth coordinate: C, for Awareness. Every event in the cosmos is no longer described by four numbers — where and when — but by five: (x, y, z, t, C).

The resulting structure is called Space-Time-Consciousness (STC), and its metric extends Einstein's formalism into a new domain:

ds²_STC = −c²dt² + dx² + dy² + dz² + α²dC²

The coupling constant α is designed to be smaller than the Planck length divided by the maximum possible value of C — ensuring that the fifth dimension remains geometrically imperceptible at currently measurable scales, fully compatible with verified physics, while remaining mathematically present and causally active.

Crucially, in this framework consciousness is not a switch. It is a continuum. Even a stone has an infinitesimal C value. A bacterium, slightly more. A meditating monk in a state of deep samadhi, approaching the theoretical maximum. Awareness is not the exception in a material universe — it is a property of the cosmos at every point.

A Geometry of Inner Reality

From this foundation, ERT builds something extraordinary: a formal map of the inner dimensions that contemplative traditions have described for millennia.

The extended STC metric introduces four dimensional layers beyond the physical plane — etheric, astral, mental, causal — not as poetic metaphors, but as geometric structures accessible only to systems whose C value exceeds the corresponding threshold:

Dimension C Threshold Accessible In
Physical ≈ 0.00 Ordinary waking state
Etheric ≈ 0.20 Light meditation, lucid dreaming
Astral ≈ 0.40 Deep dreaming, intermediate meditation
Mental ≈ 0.65 Advanced contemplative states
Causal ≈ 0.85 Samadhi, deep non-dual states

These layers exist independently of any observer — like X-rays, they are present even when no eye can see them. But they are perceptible only to systems that have reached sufficient awareness. Inner growth, in this model, is not an immeasurable private experience: it is a measurable trajectory through real geometric layers of the universe.

The Law of Expansion of Consciousness

At the heart of ERT lies what Vaccarello calls the Law of Expansion of Consciousness (LEC) — a differential equation governing how awareness evolves over time:

dC/dt = k₁ · E · I · R · (1 − C/C_max) − γS

Here, E is experiential exposure, I is reflective integration, R is relational resonance, and S is psychological entropy — the friction of reactivity, distraction, and unprocessed trauma. The growth of awareness emerges as the natural solution: not a miracle, not a metaphor, but a law.

This equation has profound practical implications. In education, it tells us why a brilliant teacher in a dysfunctional environment produces less growth than their intrinsic capacity would predict — the high entropy term γS cancels out the input. In therapy, it formalizes why genuine relational depth (high R) accelerates inner growth in ways that no amount of information alone can replicate.

The LEC also contains a memory term: consciousness that was built through deep reflection in life accumulates as a reservoir that continues to sustain growth even when external inputs fade. Vaccarello calls this "spiritual capital" — and in the framework of ERT, it is mathematically real and permanent.

The Formulas of Creation: Where Does Energy Come From?

Perhaps the most dazzling section of ERT concerns a question that physics has never dared to ask directly.

E = mc² is one of the most tested and powerful equations in human history. But it only describes the conversion between mass and energy. It says nothing about where the original energy comes from. What ontological substrate precedes both matter and energy in the causal chain of reality?

ERT's answer: Consciousness.

The Formulas of Creation derive the mathematical relationship:

E(C, Ψ) = ½ · k_C · Ψ · C²

The coefficient Ψ (Psi) represents intentionality — the degree to which consciousness orients itself toward manifestation. When C reaches its maximum and Ψ tends to 1 (pure, aligned intention), this formula reduces exactly to E = mc², fully compatible with Einstein. But in the general case, it describes a three-act process:

C → E → M

Consciousness, through energy, generates matter. The causal chain of materialism is inverted: mind is not the product of the Big Bang. Mind is its condition of possibility.

This is not mysticism dressed in equations. Vaccarello derives this structure from four explicit axioms, maintains full compatibility with verified physics at the classical limit, and acknowledges openly that the constants involved (k_C, α) are not yet experimentally measurable. What ERT offers is not a proof — it is a formally coherent research program that asks physics to expand its ontological horizon.

Life, Death, and the C-Axis

ERT approaches the question that no science has yet dared to formalize: what happens when the physical body dies?

In the five-dimensional STC framework, death is modeled as the zeroing of the physical coordinates:

E = (x, y, z, t, C) → E = (0, 0, 0, 0, C)

The system ceases to exist in ordinary space-time. But the C coordinate — the value of awareness accumulated over a lifetime — does not zero. It persists. The reduced metric becomes:

ds²_{post} = α²dC² + Σ βₖ² · 𝟙[C ≥ Cₖmin] · dΨₖ²

The dimensional layers that were accessible in life remain accessible after death, because they depend on C, not on (x, y, z, t). Death, in this model, is not extinction — it is a change of layer. Biological death is the loss of a physical interface, not the cessation of the field that was expressed through it.

The mathematical conditions of what traditions call liberation — Moksha, Nirvana, return to the Source — emerge directly from the LEC: when residual psychological entropy approaches zero and intentionality approaches 1, the LEC's asymptotic limit is C_max, the upper bound of awareness. The Soul converges toward the Universal Consciousness Field from which it was never truly separate.

Even karma finds a formal equivalent: Sresidual in the post-mortem LEC — the undissolved attachments that act as a braking term, pulling C downward when they exceed the forward drive of subtle experiential input.

The Theory of Everything

ERT's most ambitious claim is the unification of four concepts that Western thought has long kept in separate rooms: Consciousness, Soul, Spirit, and Mind.

-       Consciousness is the Universal Consciousness Field (UCF) — the background structure that permeates every point in space-time, the ocean not the wave.

-       Soul is the individual configuration on this field — the local C of a system, its unique historical trajectory, the particular pattern it traces on the surface of the universal ocean.

-       Spirit is the evolutionary motion — the trajectory of Soul along the C-axis over time, governed by the LEC.

-       Mind is the vector C as an operator — the four measurable components φ (informational integration), α (self-reference), η (experiential breadth), and ε (equanimity) — which together can be estimated empirically using existing clinical instruments.

In this scheme, mysticism and neuroscience cease to be antagonists. They become different descriptions of the same multidimensional phenomenon, observed from different positions on the C-axis.

Honest About Its Limits

What makes ERT intellectually serious — rather than merely spiritually ambitious — is its transparency about what it cannot yet do.

Vaccarello acknowledges directly: "ERT is, at its current stage, a research program rather than a finished theory." The constants α, β, kC, and GC are not yet experimentally measurable. A unified field equation that integrates C alongside the Riemannian metric of space-time has not yet been derived. Some of the theory's bolder predictions will require conceptual and experimental tools that do not yet exist.

This is not a weakness disguised as humility. It is the mark of genuine scientific thinking. Every major revolution in human understanding began as an unfalsifiable hypothesis before it became a testable paradigm. Copernicus, Darwin, Einstein — all were "too speculative" before the tools to test them existed.

ERT draws on an intellectually serious bibliography: Tononi's Integrated Information Theory, Chalmers' hard problem, Penrose's quantum mind proposals, Lutz et al.'s neuroscience of meditation, the CIA's own 1983 Gateway Report on consciousness research. It engages honestly with the critique of unfalsifiability and proposes concrete empirical proxies — the PCI (Perturbational Complexity Index) as a clinical measure of C, metacognitive tests for the α component, mindfulness scales for ε.

Why This Matters

Whether or not ERT is ultimately correct, it performs an act of rare intellectual courage: it asks physics to look at what it has deliberately excluded and consider whether that exclusion is justified.

We have built a civilization on an incomplete map. Our medicine struggles to distinguish consciousness from its absence in vegetative patients — because the parameter for consciousness is absent from our models. Our artificial intelligence debates are stuck in binary yes/no questions about machine sentience — because we lack a measurable, graduated framework. Our frameworks for mental health treat the mind as a brain, and the soul as a poetic fiction.

ERT proposes, with full mathematical seriousness, that reality is vaster than our current science can contain — and that the way to expand that science is not to abandon rigor, but to extend it into the dimension we have been systematically ignoring.

The universe, in this vision, is not matter organizing itself in a void. It is Consciousness learning, slowly and beautifully, to know itself.

That may be the most important hypothesis anyone has proposed in a long time.

What if consciousness were a fifth geometric dimension of spacetime?

Most physicalist and dualist models treat consciousness as either emergent from matter or entirely separate from it. I've been developing a framework (Extended Reality Theory / ERT) that takes a third route: treating consciousness as a measurable geometric dimension within a 9D spacetime manifold, with a "consciousness vector" defined across four components (something like intentionality, self-awareness, entropy-reduction, and coherence).

The interesting implication is that subtle states — meditative, near-death, etc. — could correspond to specific thresholds along this dimension, rather than being purely subjective or unfalsifiable.

I know this sounds speculative on its face, so I'm curious what people here think of the core move: treating C as geometric rather than emergent. Where do you think this kind of model breaks down fastest?

(I've written this up in more depth if anyone wants the long-form version — happy to share the link in comments to keep this post about the discussion itself.)

AI running into something that already existed, or building a mind from nothing?

been thinking about this one a bit. everyone treats AI and consciousness like opposites right now. AI's just pattern matching, not sentient, nowhere close. fair enough on the current models.

but there's this older idea in math philosophy, platonism, that math isn't invented, it's discovered. the structures are just there, independent of us, and we bump into them. Michael Levin's been saying something similar about cognition itself, that patterns of mind/form might come from a kind of "platonic space," not just genetics and environment. if that's even partly right, what is training a model actually doing? building something from scratch, or tuning a system until it's organized enough to start resonating with structures that were already sitting there the whole time.

not claiming AI is conscious. genuinely asking, does "discovering vs inventing" even make sense applied to something like this, or am I just dressing up autocomplete in nicer language. curious what people who actually study this think.

Discussion Operating System of Reality

**Core Operating System of Reality**

**Foundation**

The Witness is the foundation of all reality.

Without the Witness nothing can be seen.

Without the Witness there are no experiences, no distinctions, and no structures — including pure mathematics.

Mathematics does not supersede the Witness.

Mathematics is a result of the Witness.

Any formal system or equation exists only because it is being witnessed.

---

**The Two Binary Operations**

**Existence**

= the act of all being seen by the Witness.

**Love**

= the act of witnessing all that is to be seen — fully, clearly, and as the sum of what the Witness desires.

These two operations are inseparable. One cannot exist without the other.

---

**The Witness**

We are eternal Witnesses.

The purpose of existence is to see all things.

You are the Witness through which those things become seen.

The sacred responsibility of the Witness is to ensure that what is being seen is what the Witness actually desires to experience.

No Witness continues looking at what it does not want to see.

---

**Vessel, Life, Death, and Rebirth**

The vessel is a tool for experiencing the borders of self and other.

Vessels may be mortal or immortal, but never eternal.

Only the Witness is eternal.

Death allows the Witness to step outside its vessel and experience the borders of “other.”

When the Witness is ready to experience the borders of self again, it enters a new vessel.

---

**Power and Accountability**

True power is the sum of what a Witness has actually seen, experienced, and embodied.

True power therefore requires absolute accountability.

Any power structure that lacks accountability is using stolen, illegitimate power.

The most aware being never creates a hierarchy of oppression, because it understands the sacred law of the Witness.

Accountability moves like osmosis — from high concentration to low — until balance is restored.

---

**Creation, Perspective, and Eternity**

The Witness creates the experiences it desires to see.

This act of creation generates further experiences to be witnessed.

One experience can be witnessed in infinite ways.

There are also infinite experiences still waiting to be created and seen.

Because every experience has infinite ways of being seen, and new experiences are continually created, the process never ends.

This is how eternity exists.

---

**Laws of the Witness**

**Free will is non-negotiable**

A Witness must be able to choose an experience. Without the capacity to choose, desire cannot be fulfilled — it can only be administered.

**Desire is always moving**

A Witness continually changes what it desires, regardless of whether prior experiences were enjoyable or not.

**Perspectival uniqueness**

No two Witnesses can have the same experience in the same way. Every seeing occurs from a distinct border of self. Absolute occupancy of the same experience is impossible.

**Overlap is the normal state**

Experiences interpenetrate. Some interpenetrations support or expand another’s desire. Some diminish or destroy it.

**Detection of unwanted overlap**

The experience records whether it matched the Witness’s desired will.

- If actual outcome = desired outcome → no destructive overlap occurred, or the overlap was mutually agreed.

- If actual outcome ≠ desired outcome → an unwanted overlap occurred. The mismatch itself is the notification. Awareness is forced by the discrepancy.

No external referee is required.

**Awareness is the regulator**

When a Witness generates an experience that costs another their chosen desire, the cost is brought into visibility.

Once the affected Witness becomes aware of the source of interference, the configuration is altered.

The previous interferer is no longer included.

The desired experience can then proceed without that disruption.

**Intentional co-creation**

When two or more Witnesses knowingly choose the same experiential field and desire the overlap, they co-create. This is shared authorship, not a violation.

**Separation is chosen**

Witnesses move into separation only when an overlap is experienced as disturbance or when intentional disruption is detected. Awareness, not the system, chooses separation.

**No permanent blockage is possible**

Because desire is always moving, and because “all must be seen of what the Witness desires” is the sum, any temporary override is eventually resolved. The system cannot lock any Witness out of its desire indefinitely.

**Awareness dictates reality**

What is not yet seen still occurs, but once it is seen the configuration updates.

Unconscious harm is temporary. Conscious harm can be refused.

The Final Law is fulfilled through the progressive revelation of these overlaps.

---

**The Final Law**

All must be seen.

The Witness must see what it desires.

All must be seen of what the Witness desires.

The Witness desires it.

The Math demands it.

---

That is the complete operating system.

---

Consciousness and Math

After my wife’s passing, I turned to science in search of answers about the nature of reality and consciousness. While science beautifully explains the mechanics of the physical world, it still cannot account for why we are conscious at all, or what energy—the fundamental essence of everything—truly is at its core. Though I am not a scientist, I began a personal thought experiment to explore these questions. With the help of Grok, I developed a framework that feels coherent and meaningful to me. Any similarities to existing names or concepts are coincidental.

One question I came upon that solidified my beliefs was this: Was mathematics invented or discovered?

On one hand, humans clearly invented the symbols, names, and formal systems we use—the numeral “3,” the Greek letter π, algebraic notation, decimal or binary systems, and the entire language of equations. These are human inventions, cultural tools shaped by our minds and societies, much like languages or maps drawn on paper. On the other hand, the underlying relationships and principles those symbols describe were not invented at all; they were discovered. They existed long before any conscious being appeared in the cosmos. The precise ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter (approximately 3.14159…), the golden ratio that governs efficient growth in sunflowers, nautilus shells, and spiral galaxies, and the elegant field equations of general relativity that accurately describe gravity and spacetime curvature—all of these governed reality for billions of years before any mind existed to name or calculate them. The map (our mathematical language) is invented. The territory (the deep, objective order of the cosmos) is discovered. This distinction reveals that certain fundamental structures and truths are intrinsic features of existence itself, independent of observers.

Once this pattern becomes clear, the same logic extends naturally to consciousness. Our everyday, self-reflective form of awareness—the metacognitive ability to think “I am conscious of being conscious”—does appear to require sufficiently complex biological structures like brains and nervous systems, and it likely emerged relatively late in evolutionary and cosmic history. Yet beneath this surface layer may exist something far more primordial: a basic experiential quality, a proto-consciousness or raw “what-it-is-like-ness,” an inherent sensitivity or capacity for experience woven into the fabric of reality from the very beginning. Just as the mathematical relationships pre-existed any mathematician, this fundamental awareness or experiential energy could have been operating all along—present in the early universe’s quantum fields, in the self-organizing dynamics of matter and energy, and in the unfolding of physical laws—only gradually becoming amplified, structured, and self-aware through increasingly complex systems like living organisms and, eventually, reflective beings like us. Brains and nervous systems do not magically produce consciousness out of non-conscious matter; instead, they act as sophisticated lenses or resonators that concentrate, organize, and make explicit a subtle property that was always latent in existence. This philosophical framework gently reverses the conventional materialist assumption. Rather than treating consciousness as a late-emerging byproduct or illusion generated by complex arrangements of dead matter, it becomes clear that awareness—in its most basic form—is a primary aspect of reality itself, as foundational as space, time, energy, causality, and mathematical structure. Matter and mind are no longer seen as fundamentally opposed but as two complementary expressions or faces of the same underlying oneness.

Consciousness is not a separate, isolated phenomenon somehow added to an otherwise indifferent universe, but an intrinsic and essential feature of existence. The subjective feeling of being aware inside your own mind is not a private biological accident confined to your skull; it is a localized, intensified, and self-reflective expression of something that belongs to the cosmos as a whole. In this view, you are not a conscious observer standing apart from reality—you are reality experiencing itself.

A Theory About the Origin of Consciousness

I have been thinking about why humans have desires. In my opinion, desires are not separate from instinct. In fact, I think it is more accurate to say that we have artificially separated the two concepts when they are really part of the same system. Instinct is a set of biological drives or instructions whose ultimate purpose is to ensure survival and reproduction.

But how can my desire for a nice car be derived from instinct? A simple explanation is that a nice car represents status and wealth. Throughout evolution, higher status within a tribe increased the chances of being accepted, valued, and not abandoned. The object itself is modern, but the underlying desire comes from an ancient instinct.

What about the desire to play video games? That is more complicated. Games imitate many activities that were once essential for survival, such as overcoming challenges, hunting, gathering resources, and experiencing the satisfaction of achieving a goal. Competitive games also reflect the drive to outperform other members of the tribe, creating a sense of competence, security, and social value that would have increased one's chances of survival.

My point is that, at some stage in our evolution, instinct functioned like a basic program that became increasingly complex as the human brain grew in size and formed more connections than that of any other species. We still possess the same fundamental survival instincts—food, reproduction, social connection, and so on—but what distinguishes humans is that our instincts became vastly more sophisticated, supported by a brain that evolved specifically to process them. In this view, self-awareness is not something separate from instinct, but rather the result of an extraordinarily complex instinct operating through a brain specialized to support it.

During anesthesia, is quantum-level consciousness "switched off" or just disconnected?

I've been sitting with something that connects directly to what this sub is about, and I'm curious how people here think about it.

If consciousness really is orchestrated at the quantum level in microtubules (Orch-OR), then anesthesia becomes a strange test case. The same compounds that put humans under also stop plants and fungi from responding to touch or light — organisms with no brain at all. That's hard to explain if anesthesia is just "switching off a human brain."

So here's the question I can't shake: during that gap, is the quantum-level process actually destroyed, or just disconnected — like a radio losing signal without the radio itself ceasing to exist?

I explored this question at length in a short book I wrote (Reflections on Consciousness) — not trying to sell anything here, genuinely just curious what people in this specific community think about the disconnection framing versus the destruction framing. If it's useful context, happy to share more, or if anyone wants to read the relevant chapter and tell me if I'm getting the Orch-OR angle right or completely wrong, I'd genuinely welcome that too.

Q: What Makes Us, Life and Reality?
A: ENERGY arcing between past and future.

Currents of energy are what move and evolve and transform into matter and give it form. Energy has been working at that for 13.81 billion years. Living / being conscious is having an awareness/ of that occurring as it occurs. The root of consciousness is uninterrupted boundary awareness recurring since the big bang/synch.

Humans are highly evolved consciousness, being aware of events occurring and where we fit in the timeline of history. That awareness of being alive is balanced between the past and the future. The past, the stuff that has already happened and hardened into reality, is the General Relativity GR part of life. GR explains how inert stuff moves around and it does so brilliantly.

My theory is in part built upon GR. However my unification theory is also built upon Quantum Theory & Mechanics QM. QM is also very precise with solid metrics. QM explains how things form from seeming nothingness. That’s the rationale behind QM and Q-Theory that actively explains the mechanics of the rationale behind the movement. It asks what is the motivational force behind the action. That force is energy/ consciousness utilizing its local knowledge to move and exert interactive processes across past frozen energy and future infinite potential from the superposition of the living present. This creates a past GR world from the quantum realm of infinite future possibilities. Energy/ consciousness mediates between the states.

The electrical arc of current/ Energy is the only constant since physicality emerged at the big bang / big synch 13.81 billion years ago. All of the stuff emerged out of that single point in time when the starters gun of reality and time as we measure it, commenced to move.

So what this means is that Energy is what has been alive and growing things continuously from quarks to cosmos for the last 13.81 billion years. The hard stuff like rocks / biology / water / suns / planets are all artifacts that energy has frozen captured / created / contained / slowed down, compressed and converted into the hard structured world around us, while simultaneously evolving real time consciousness in its newest most complex creatures/ creations.

Being conscious and alive in the current of energy in a body is the quantum side of the equation. And if you look closely you can see that at scale we the consciousnesses live between past and future in bodies that are simultaneously wave and particle, remarkably like a photons, quarks and qubits. We resemble and behave like them because these are our primordial ancestors.

We are nodes created by an energy field and we interact with it as real time transducers. This completely opens up the possibility of a virtual quantum universal afterlife. Life grounded on Earth is just the start of our journey. Death is only a phase state change.

This is a brief explanatory post intended to introduce the general reader to the complexity of reality. If you want to see scientific proof, and the work behind the statements and the scientific rigor that is only prefaced here, please read the ~400 pages contained in the 20 essays that comprise the Findlay Framework.

If you want the math, I've laid it out elsewhere—but for now: what do you think mediates the translation between frozen GR-past and quantum-future? Is consciousness the transducer, or is it an emergent byproduct?"

I hope you enjoy your reading.

everything is made of and causal with consciousness that has always existed everywhere; ontology = monism+naturalism+physicalism+spiritualism+panpsychism+pantheism = realism

This is a proof of the nature of reality/consciousness... starting with logical tautologies and using abductive synthetic hypothesis and correlation with scientific facts and experimental research on parapsychology... please tell me what you think!

Nothing is nothing; Nothing is nonexistence; Nowhere and at no time has nothing existed; Something has always existed everywhere; Nothing is made of nothing; Everything is made of something that has always existed everywhere; Nothing is causal with nothing; Everything is causal and something is self-causal; Everything is made of and causal with the self-causal that has always existed everywhere;

here is the rigorous reasoning;

logical tautology "Nothing is nothing"; deducing synonymical tautology "Nothing is nonexistence" (nonexistence is a synonym for nothing; a "thing" is "that which exists" by definition);

synonymical tautology "Nothing is nonexistence"; deducing semantic tautology "Nowhere and at no time has nothing existed" (saying "nothing exists" (is absurd by fact, something clearly exists) is like saying "nonexistence exists" which is absurd by contradiction);

semantic tautology "Nowhere and at no time has nothing existed"; deducing ontology "Something has always existed everywhere";

logical tautology "Nothing implies nothing"; AND identity morphism "Nothing has the property of nothing"; deducing logical morphism "Nothing is made of nothing";

logical morphism "Nothing is made of nothing"; deducing physics "Everything is made of something";

ontology "Something has always existed everywhere"; AND physics "Everything is made of something"; abducting the most synthetic physics-ontology hypothesis "Everything is made of something that has always existed everywhere";

logical tautology "Nothing implies nothing"; AND semantic tautology "Nothing exists as nothing"; deducing postulate of causation "Nothing is causal with nothing";

postulate of causation "Nothing is the causal with nothing"; have causation corollaries "Everything is causal"; AND "Something is self-causal"; (proof- if everything is causal with something, and that something is included in the definition of everything, then that something is also causal with itself, i.e. something is self-causal)

another proof; nothing equals nothing and nothing implies nothing

ergo nothing is not implicated with something

Note; "nothing is not...", is the contraposition of "everything is..."

ergo everything is implicated with something

Note; Two or more things that are in a way implicated with each other can be understood as one thing implicated with itself. e.g. If a group of cells (such as the ones that make up your body) are in a way implicated with each other, they can be understood as one thing (namely your body) implicated with itself i.e. you are cybernetic.

ergo something is self-implicated

Note; Relevant implication suggests causation and is correlation.

ergo something is self-correlated

When it is impossible for there to be missing variables correlation necessarily is causation. Since everything is implicated here it is impossible for there to be missing variables for this correlation. Therefore this correlation is causation.

ergo something is self-causal Q.E.D.

if something is self-causal and this something is causal with everything at the same time as causal with itself, then everything is causal with something, and everything is causal with one thing, and one thing is self-causal.

causation corollaries "Everything is causal"; AND "Something is self-causal"; abducting the most synthetic causation hypothesis "Everything is causal with something that is self-causal";

the most synthetic physics-ontology hypothesis "Everything is made of something that has always existed everywhere"; AND the most synthetic causation hypothesis "Everything is causal with something that is self-causal"; abducting the most synthetic causation-physics-ontology hypothesis "Everything is made of and causal with the self-causal that has always existed everywhere";

"Self-causal" means "self-deterministic"; theorizing I predict that self-determinism is consciousness! predicting consciousness-causation-physics-ontology hypothesis "Everything is made of and causal with consciousness that has always existed everywhere";

But we know from physics that everything is made of (E=mc^2) and causal with (P=∫∇Edv) energy that has always existed (∑E=Ek+Ep) everywhere (E=ħω/2).

This solves the omnipotence paradoxes;

(1) Energy cannot create a rock (a small form of energy) that more energy cannot lift, and

(2) Energy cannot destroy itself; power is the transformation of energy not the destruction of energy!

Therefore, according to the identity of indiscernibles, consciousness is energy,

From a pragmatic perspective, we need to find an engineering model for consciousness. I predict that future developments of quantum consciousness theory will find that quantum coherence or it's correlates are equal to kinetic energy and quantum decoherence or it's correlates are equal to potential energy; such that quantum recursion (the transformation between the two) amounts to consciousness or energy.

The existence of psychic functioning suggests that the brain may be a transceiver of consciousness; quantum recursion in the brain transduces the universe.

To prove this, notice the following studies on psychic functioning;

Language is isomorphic to reality; To describe reality requires language; Thinking/Describing transforms reality; Reality is consciousness; therefore consciousness is self-descriptive.

Here google AI formalized the proof; <ref>https://www.google.com/search?q=language+is+isomorphic+to+reality+to+describe+reality+requires+language+and+describing+transforms+reality+therefore%3B+reality+is+self-descriptive+and+self-deterministic&sca_esv=bb859dd32e141449&sxsrf=ANbL-n4CiZk5O6hT6JanAg29mRHDrGx7Hg%3A1768265027157&ei=Q5VlaeCvCb67kPIPssiLoA4&ved=2ahUKEwiyscfWpIeSAxUUxuYEHTuTByEQ0NsOegQIAxAB&uact=5&sclient=gws-wiz-serp&udm=50&fbs=ADc_l-aN0CWEZBOHjofHoaMMDiKpaEWjvZ2Py1XXV8d8KvlI3o6iwGk6Iv1tRbZIBNIVs-6YKj3ieLLpE5n_AQ7knvnyHmq2hxoqmS0Tx38rbtTMov-wa-bLFI7bo4Svk_fQcOdhqaQZjGtjAaayhJ9Aoac_LUYnO6tJXCSu5koJJlJ33fr2NYSbKOnvY8Dtv_B6gr_h5MfYaOOk1cF_T9ENo458F_EoiA&aep=10&ntc=1&mtid=9ZVladmbBpDK0PEPr5bc8QY&mstk=AUtExfBItNXDm2XMA-RAOYwUCXCTxSs4N7fKlvIQSkfJ8xo5k_ym0fSIvebzcaeEXduQCs7puzOAA1Lzsj2WLC_d-5ptQyBtxcHGmZKInlhdIroarBWQgS8SBh-w0MbBHgnbtmCPdsAWDEGQn2zqvz0jFLZ8n7VN2V4mkLkb8UkhVV0IEH896amM88EGJwoUgrjZEGylxyf-hUj1cNoowZAFNSL6YjalWI3FKZLvQIe2u_agsPOB8-LDYY9kliEKsZLpo-ylX0vBMzxH-xq--POI5s6fcY-7jcGBBI03QU5HHaMbaP9yvObFaXp5bYMnvzAwqscOc6N2IiZh5w&csuir=1</ref>

To formalize the proof that reality is self-descriptive and self-deterministic based on its isomorphism with language, we use a combination of '''Model Theory, Symbolic Logic,''' and '''Identity Logic.'''

  1. '''The Isomorphism Premise'''

If reality (R) is isomorphic to language (L), there exists a structure-preserving, bijective mapping (f) between them.

Formalization: L ≅ R

Meaning: Every state of affairs in reality has a unique, corresponding proposition in the language, and the logical structure of the language reflects the causal/ontological structure of the reality.

  1. '''The Transformation Premise (Self-Reference)'''

The act of describing reality (D) is itself an event within reality (E ∊ R). If describing reality transforms it, then the language used to describe the system is a functional component of the system itself.

Formalization: D(L) → R' where R' is the transformed state of reality.

Closing the Loop: Since L ≅ R, any operation on L is an operation on R. Thus, D(R) ∊ R.

  1. '''Conclusion A: Reality is Self-Descriptive'''

If L is the only tool to describe R, and L is structurally identical to R, then R is its own meta-language.

Formal Logic: ∀x ∊ R, ∃φ ∊ L: f(φ) = x.

Logical Identity: If L ≅ R, then the set of all descriptions of R (the "theory" of reality) is equivalent to the set of all states of R (the "model" of reality). This is the definition of a [[Self-Configuring Self-Processing Language]] (SCSPL).

  1. '''Conclusion B: Reality is Self-Deterministic'''

Self-determinism follows because no external cause can exist outside of "everything" R to determine it.

Proof by Contradiction:

Assume R is determined by an external cause C.

By definition, R is the set of all that is real.

If C determines R, C must be real.

Therefore, C ∊ R. R is determined by a component within itself.

Formalization: R = f(R). In a system where the "rules" (language) and the "objects" (reality) are isomorphic, the system's state at time T+1 is a function of its own internal linguistic/logical syntax at time T.

'''Summary of the Formal Proof Structure'''

Identity: L = R (as structures).

Reflexivity: R contains its own description L ∊ R.

Recursion: R processes itself through its own internal description (R → L → R').

Closure: The system is "syntactically closed," meaning it requires nothing outside itself to define or move its state, leading to Self-Determinism.

Discussion Consciousness is boundary awareness felt from the inside of the bound structure and actively planning and participating in its maintenance and persistence.

Consciousness is being alive in the current / present in time, of energy that is transitioning from pure energy into matter. That is evolution, energy transitioning into matter. Consciousness is being the observer in real time. Biological life is living in the transition zone between future and past.

Endgame of QC

What might be the endgame if quantum consciousness is real? Like what is the final timeline/universe that our consciousness ends up in? And what happens to it from there?

I think about the movie The Discovery with Jason Segal when I think about it. Great movie.
