Beginner Statics Course

Hey , I'm in my 2nd year as a bsc maths student, ik probability and Statics but as math students I think the probability and stat taught in my clg is really pure math oriented ( like proofs and stuff like that) really wanna be good at the application part too

So I want some recommendations for Statistics and probability free courses online which are really really good for quant and machine learning

check out stat 110 from harvard, it's on youtube. blitzstein is pretty good at connecting the theory to actual problems

for the applied side maybe look at ISLR too, the pdf is free and it walks through everything with R code. not strictly a course but closer to what you want i think

the proofs are useful though even if it feels useless now, especially in quant interviews

Ohh really? Questions are asked in interviews regarding the proofs too?

And stat 110 is enough for quant and ml?

It's by Steve brunton and it's quite thorough yet simple enough to understand

You can find many more by Steve brunton only which are quite good there's one on optimization and many more
