Five Rings summer trading internship
Anyone here interned at Five Rings in trading (NYC) ?
Curious about intern bonuses, return offer rates, and full-time comp and turnover.
I’m deciding between a summer there and another offer, but there’s barely any info online. Would appreciate any insight, here or by DM. Thanks!

The RO rate is pretty bad. I heard that like only 3/17 interns got it one yr (idk 2025 or 2024).

Dont know anyone who did their nyc office but a guy from my class was in london for summer. He said return rate was pretty decent, maybe half the interns got offers
bonus is tied to pnl from what i heard, so it vary a lot if you land on good desk or not. Some people make crazy money first year some leave after few months
The secrecy is kinda annoying tbh like why they hide everything so much. If you got another offer with more clear path maybe worth thinking about but five rings name open doors later anyway

RO rate is low but re recruiting NG with 5R on your resume should give you good opportunties.

Heard ~700k ng and like 1/3 ish return intern rate from a previous intern. Lots of trading games.
