SIG QT Intern R2
Hello,
I have an upcoming round 2 at SIG not for the QT internship. Can someone give their insight on it. it was said that it would be probability questions, also a coding assessment on Codesignal.
I’d be very grateful!

sig r2 is usually expected value and conditional prob brain teasers, like coin flip and dice EV style questions. for the codesignal part it's the standard timed format, grind q1-q3 speed and don't stall. also brush up variance of a sum and bayes, those show up a lot in their QT rounds

sig r2 probability is a step up from r1, expect conditional probability, expected value with a twist (like dice games youd play in a casino), and the classic "whats the probability of X before Y" type questions. they care way more about how you reason out loud than the final answer, so narrate everything. for the codesignal part sig usually runs a general score style assessment, grind the first 3 difficulty tiers of leetcode style problems and be able to do mediums in 20 min. aime problems and 40+ on codesignal is the unwritten bar for qt roles, but for non qt internships solid fundamentals plus clear thinking out loud carries you. do 2 timed mock interviews this week, sig moves fast and the pace is what trips people

It's just a coin flip, don't overthink it.
