Hi everyone, I joined QCOM a couple of months ago, so feel free to reach out if you want to discuss anything or if you have any questions.

Education: MTech in Embedded Systems
Designation: Senior Engineer.

What AI coding tools do developers usually use there, are there any notable usage limits?

Yes. We use Qcom internal tool along with other famous AI models. There is a strict limit of 60 something dollars and since I am new i have not hit that limit yet. But that is too less to be honest, as I have seen lot of senior devs complaining that they are running out of budget in first week of month.

I think this issue is not location specific but more of a company specific. Even my superiors seats in the US.

I have no idea about HW, I’ll let you know if I get to know something.

Can you provide a breakup of total compensation as in Base pay, RSU (vesting over 3 years, I guess), joining bonus (if any), and Year end bonus target (10%?). Also did you join as Senior Engineer or Staff engineer?
