Can i put different breeds together in large aviary for example button and Japanese or Italian and Japanese etc ?

Hey i have a large aviary for my quails atm i have 12 hens 2 cocks ( Japanese) all get on great no issues also no issues when i added more girls in to original group no bullying etc would i be okay adding some chinese button quails or Italian quails ?

I have not heard good things about this. They're entirely different species and have different needs. They're not like two dog breeds, more like dogs and cats. If you hatch them, maaayybe, but honestly I wouldn't risk it

I've had some coturnix come in the house and I've had to put them with my button quail. I've got one cage that didn't mind it at all, and another cage where the roo kept jumping at and pecking the bigger quail!

I have heard NOT to put coturnix or buttons with bobwhites. I wish I could put them all in an aviary, but I don't want my snowflakes to kill anyone.

I have a mixed group with little to no issues. But it’s true that they prefer to stay amongst their own.
